In honour of all who ‘mother’ – thankyou! We know that it isn’t just biological mothers that care and nurture in the world, but also friends, girlfriends, aunties and sometimes even strangers that provide ‘mothering’ support. Should we rename it ‘Mothering Day’?
These five generations of Mothers & Daughters span an age range of 95 years. Enid Cox 98, Veronica Dennis 69, Kate Flesser 47, Ashleigh Rook 24 and Charlotte Rook 3. Each member brought an item to show their personality – hair straighteners, books, recipes and Enid’s hand embroidery, which she still does. What an honour to photograph them.
We’re going to be taking bookings again in the next couple weeks, so if you’d like to talk to me about ideas, reply to this email or give me a call – we’d love to hear from you.

Keep sending your reviews!
Robyn has been photographing our family over 25 years. She photographed us in 1991 and again in 2016 for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. She photographed my mother, then 80 years old in 1991 and Mum used this photo on the jacket of her novel. Mum passed away at age 102, and I still have these lovely portraits of her. And I was in the book "50+ Fabulous Women of the Sunshine Coast". Robyn really spends time getting inside your head so that her photographs truly tell your story.
